Contemporary Issues in Events Management; Personal Reflection

This podcast is a personal reflection on a group workshop produced on the 11th November 2016. The workshop consisted of teaching students on how to train staff in health and safety in a fun way. 

Episode 1: Contemporary Issues In Events Management; Drug use at Festivals

This first podcast will explore the use of drugs at festivals. We will discuss with a guest speaker about their views on the uses of drugs and potential ways in which there could potentially be more awareness and proactive strategies to tackle drug use at festivals. 

Episode 2: Contemporary Issues In Events Management; Technology

The 2nd podcast will be about technology in the events industry. We will be looking at how new technology has progressed throughout the industry over the years and what affect it has had on attendee experience, outlook and future event planning. 

Episode 3: Contemporary Issues In Events Management; Terrorism

This third and finale podcast will explore the issues of terrorism in the event industry and how it has possibly changed the way in which events are produced today and forever. We will focus on the main issues in which the rise of terrorism has affected the way in which we look, feel and attend an event.
